01/17/2003 Archived Entry: "Music Videos Issue"

I had posted earlier that the Music Videos had made their return, but it seems like the server went unstable after a few downloads. 4 Gigs of transfer were used in less than 5 hours (!!!). I'm going to check the FTP Server status and wait for the DNS to resolve instead of linking the videos by IP. Also, once the videos return, they'll be Zipped (this will avoid confusion by users that try to stream, because you CANNOT stream from an Anonymous FTP Server). I'll announce when everything is 100% operational. Patience, people. This shouldn't take longer than 1 or 2 days.

PS: Before you email me, yes... I deleted the post I had made earlier about the videos being back up, so don't go scrolling down searching for it. Those of you who managed to download videos while they were working, consider yourselves lucky.
