05/06/2003 Entry: "Legacy of Goku II Features"
It seems Infogrames is doing a great job so far with Legacy of Goku II. The game is completely different from the first version, and it's shaping up extremely nice. Some of the new features include:
* Characters in Legacy II can move diagonally. In Legacy 1 you were not able to do so.* You are also able to play as 5 different Z-Warriors. In the original you only played as Goku.
* There are a lot more side quests. In fact, the game is about ten times larger than the first, depending on a player's skill level.
* Characters from some of the DBZ movies make appearances in the game - more to come on this soon.
* There are 5 attacks per character in Legacy II, as opposed to 4 attacks in Legacy 1.
* There are more items to acquire than before. For example, the Scouter becomes available through a side quest. Once you receive the Scouter you can use it to check out the regional maps and also to scan the power levels of your enemies. There is such a variety of enemies that the Scouter becomes quite handy.
* The game has become so big that there is now regional maps as well as the World Map. You no longer need to collect Flight Charges since you don't fly in the regional map. You use designated Flight Circles to get from one part of a regional map to another.
Go check out DBZonPS2 for the full scoop and latest images of the game.
