In southern California you can get your permit at 15 and your license at 16.

I'm so happy to live in Missouri where you get your permit at 15 and your license at 16. Though they are pretty relaxed about permits and no adults. :p

Ha! hector, you're stupid! my friend's sister is 16 and has a license, not a permit! I've seen it! and I don't live in one of those states where people get licenses at 14 and 15.(dang lucky people...)
