04/18/2005 Archived Entry: "Dragonball Z: Sparking"

Bandai has announced they are bringing a new Dragonball Z game to Japan this fall. DBZ: Sparking is a new 3D fighter featuring more than 40 characters including Goku, Vegeta, and Janemba. The game will feature a modified first person perspective, with the player viewing over their fighter's shoulder. The game is being developed by Spike and produced by Bandai with a target release this fall for the PS2 in Japan. It is unknown at this time if the game will be brought to the rest of the world at this time. You can visit the official site for a few images or check out the thread on the Chronicles forum.

android #17, I think Bandia knows what they are doing when they make a game so no doubt its gonna be good. Well be luck if we see this release here in america. More then likely just import it because I bet it will just get fucke*d up if they bring it over here.

yea I have to agree with ,android #17 ,Evry Dbz budokai game wer made too fast and wer not finshed.sinse 2002 the first budokai game came out(they never finished the story mode).and on 2003 part 2 came out(they did not ad the boo saga).and 3 on 2004. the usa version of budokai3 was realeased befor yhe jap version.wen the jap version came out the game was compleat(evry dbz hero had ther own story in dragon world and bulma is in the game)my point is that evry dbz game was never relly copleat.so now with this game coming out it will be the same, only a few new guys and a new figthing styel

They call him "Janemva" because in japanese, the "b" sound can be made with both B or V, it's more of a soft B, but Americans pronounce it with a hard B. If you wanna get pissed at a name get mad they made Brolly(brah-lee) into Broly (bro-lee). That pissed me off... And a DBGT game has been out, but it sucks... lol.

It's just a name, but this game looks like the same style of Bid for Power or Zone of the enders 2nd runner. Well, I hope this would be better than their Final Bout game.

dragonballz sparking is giong to be great if its realesed in the U.S. the graphics aren't like saga graphics and u can fly for real in dragonballz sparking not just up and down beacause thers no real boundury in the game and yhe attacks look better than ever

i have a demo of dbz tenkaichi i stole it from my cusin let me tell you on the demo you start with 22 charecters also the stor mode is Fu**en cool it is very long too you could actually choose vegetunks (fusion) vegeta and trunks

i dont remember all of them because my cusin took his demo back he punched me in the belly but it was werth it. The ones i remember are goku, vejita ,gohan adult gohan ,teen gohan, piccolo chaotzu, tien, krillin yamcha,cooler, friza, janemba brolly, hercule, trunks, vegetunks androids 16,17,18,19,20wait i did remember all of them i got a head ache it took me 12 minutes to remember all of them so please thank me oww!!

yes first go to dragon arena and beat 66-70 to get cell jr to get saibamen you also go to dragonarena and pass levels until napa breaks in. on cell jr cell breaks in and thats how you get them

hey guys i have seen other videos of dbzbt and i have found out that each charecter has 3 special moves and also like in dragonball z budokai 3 you have to do the story mode with every single charecter were talking about 60 or 90 im not sure witch one but you have to do the story with everyone so good look to all of you

Yeah but not for the story mode for like create your own charecter. Then save it on your memory card and then use it on the other disc.But i dont think its double disc i just thought that because its alot of mb and alot of features for one disc but well see how it turns out

u can be 90+ characters including chautzu, bebi vegeta, the entire ginyu force, bojack, super 17, zarbon, dodoria, and many characters that were never in the 1st 2nd or 3rd. there is also 2 story modes. one goes along with the show with the style of the 1st games story. the 2nd is a dream story mode also the same style as #1.(can any one say SS3 raditz?)

on my computer i have pics of the game. but the life bars are different on two of my pictures. also the bottom right is a dragon radar and a saiyan scouter so the japanese version and the american version are a we bit different

are you going to be able to transform because the one thing that made the dbzb's diffrent from every thing else is that you could change anytime you want cause final bout was the result of a downfall shot i would say even sagas had a better chance at serviving as a game.
