01/14/2007 Entry: "Is it over already?"
Hello!
I can't believe the holidays are finished already, that was a quick few couple of weeks. I have created the Adobe After effects tutorial page where you can browse the uploaded video tutorials. Remember, you can access this page by going under the FANS section in the left menu, and selecting the tutorials link. I will be adding some new videos soon, you can continue to request tutorials in the comments pages, I will read them and decide what to make next. No other updates at the moment. See you later!

Nice tutorial section man. But do you still use premiere 6.0? Posted by FireSpin645 @ 01/14/2007 05:13 PM EST |

Yeah I use Adobe Premiere 6.0 for small projects and for home/work projects I use the Pro 2.0 version. Thanks for the title fix haha. Posted by 007 @ 01/15/2007 04:34 AM EST |

NOO you've turned to the dark side...what about all those times you said that premiere 6.x was better.. oh well, premiere 6.x until the end!!! Posted by FireSpin645 @ 01/15/2007 02:12 PM EST |

haha, for anime videos, I would always prefer Adobe Premiere 6.0. In fact even for my fan made movie trailers, I use 6.0. But when it comes to bigger projects or HD projects, 6.0 simply can't cut it. For those cases, I use Premiere pro 2.0. For all my production needs I use Avid on my PC and Final Cut Pro on my mac at work. Posted by 007 @ 01/15/2007 07:10 PM EST |

007, I was wondering where you got your movie clips, specifically for the "One Word Preview". Posted by Jdteen @ 01/15/2007 09:13 PM EST |

Hmm well premiere 6/6.5 is way more stable in my opinion compared to the pro version, but i still use premiere pro 1.0 sometimes. Its just that some features i prefer back in 6.x Avid eh? i heard it was extremly hard to use, the rumors true? Posted by FireSpin645 @ 01/15/2007 09:40 PM EST |

Jdteen, I downloaded my Naruto footage back then. Firespin, anything can be extremly hard to use when you dont know how to use it! The learning curve is a little bit more difficult than learning Premiere or After Effects, but in the end, I would say it is fairly easy when you work hard and put a lot of effort into it. true very true. Well after effects took me a long time to learn but premiere took me like a week to learn how to use properly. I've seen Avid's interface and it doesnt seem that complicated so i might give it try. Also what was the tech problem with the tutorials. Camtasia studio crashing or something? oh yeah, in your first text tutorial, when you wrote "This Summer" how did you get the anchor point automatically in the center? whenever i type my text, it puts the anchor point on the corner Posted by FireSpin645 @ 01/15/2007 11:46 PM EST |
