Well folks, I'm happy to announce that our multimedia has returned. In other words: Have fun downloading! :)

Now that we have the media issue out of the way, we're missing the return of the DBZSC Forums (Soon!) and the reorganization of Animewide (after last week's incident). It will now have assigned staff members to prevent certain crazy users or "little brothers" from deleting others' posts. Go to Animewide for more details.

Last but not least, I would like to ask you guys a favor. Now that we're running on our own private server, our fees have increased (obviously). If you want us to keep offering multimedia (movie clips, music videos, etc.), we need your help! Please click on our advertiser banners (once a day is fine) or DONATE! Like I said before, even a dollar makes a difference!

Thank you very much.

Welcome back to DBZSC, now running on its PRIVATE server (managed by yours truly) (Actually, managed by me -- I'm the programmer! ;_; ~Kage)! This was sort of an emergency change since the server wasn't completely ready, but we were forced to do it because of some issues with our former host. As you can see, all links are operational (including the media) although they're yet to be tested if they truly work. If you see them offline later, it means that they weren't ready. ^_^;

We request PATIENCE from all of you while we test all areas of DBZSC on this new server. The forums will remain down until we prove enough stability to bring them back up, which shouldn't take long. In the meantime, you're most welcome to browse all other sections of DBZSC and report any broken links. Thanks :)

I know today is the 24th(in my time zone) but I know quite a lot of people who celebrate christmas on the 24th. Merry christmas to all the fans, friends and staff of Dbzsc. You can find my gift at the music videos section ^_-.

Did YOU make the naughty list?

On a more serious matter:

"A new virus has just been discovered that has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive ever! This virus was discovered yesterday afternoon by McAfee and no vaccine has yet!been developed. This virus simply destroys Sector Zero from the hard disk, where vital information for its functioning are stored.

This virus acts in the following manner: It sends itself automatically to all contacts on your list with the title "A Card for You". As soon as the supposed virtual card is opened, the computer freezes so that the user has to reboot. When the ctrl+alt+del keys or the reset button are pressed, the virus destroys Sector Zero, thus permanently destroying the hard disk. Yesterday in just a few hours this virus caused panic in New York, according to news broadcast by CNN. This alert was received by an employee of Microsoft itself.

So don't open any mails with subject: "A Virtual Card for You."

"The game developer Banpresto (Japanese) is currently working on a new Dragonball Z fighting game for the Gameboy advanced. Unlike the Budokai and Taiketsu fighting games, this game features a 3 on 3 battle system. You are able to switch between the 3 fighters in mid battle. The battle arena in this new game span four screens. You will be able to see where you are via a location bar at the top middle of the screen. It will be awhile before we see a North American release since it has yet to even be released in Japan."

Thanks to Kosmo of DBU for letting me on this. The game is released in Japan in the Spring of 2004.

For those of you still wondering, the other media WILL return. We only uploaded the Music Videos for now in order to balance the load. We will be getting a separate media server for the rest of the media very soon. In fact, we may get our own PRIVATE server for DBZSC & the media in the next coming days. In order to afford this, I have started advertising banners on DBZSC. Please click on them!

Before I begin, I would like to thank all the fans out there for their support and great feedback on "The Dbz Trilogy". The three videos were originally planned to be released in a 3 month period at the beginning of the year. That plan, however, as we know proved to be difficult and wasn't carried out. But on November 14th 2003 the trilogy finally came to an end with the release of the much anticipated "The Last Saiyan". Over 2000 people downloaded the video in it's first day and set a record for Dbzsc Videos.

So what now? With the trilogy finished, will there be any more music videos from the Dbzsc productions? Yes. But no more Db/Dbz/Dbgt music videos, for me, that time has passed. I will be working on new projects and more complicated and original videos featuring other anime.

On December 25th I will be releasing a music video as a Christmas gift for you guys so make sure you checkout Dbzsc on Christmas day for great updates and media content! Hopefully the media host problem will be resolved by the 25th.

Thank you once again for all your feedback and support during my time here at DBZ Saiyan Chronicles. Enjoy the Christmas layout created by Sylentecho and stay tuned for more updates!

"We got him"

Posted by Kage @ 02:45 PM EST [Link]

That's right! Looks like Toonami needs a little ratings boost, so DBZ is returning in the 6:00PM timeslot starting January 5, 2004. As for Dragonball, it will be aired Monday-Thursday at 6:30PM. DragonBall GT will be aired on Fridays at 6:30PM.

On another note, you guys might want to tune in to Anime Kraze's radio. You'll find a little unexpected surprise... All I can say is: it involves someone singing. *looks at the contact page*

P.S: It's not me. O_o

As you all probably know by now, DBMXL.com closed its doors (God will I miss that place >_<), so I decided to come over and work with XZ on some of the codings of DBZSC and see how we can spiff up the place a bit (Ie. minor forum integration such as login and PM notifications, as well as some other ideas) as well as add a little bit of security (namely my own home-grown anti-leech), but nothing much. Eeyup.

Well, as most of you know, DBMXL (Dragonball Menace) has closed its doors after 4 years of being online. This is truly a very big loss for the DB community because few sites like that one remain. However, in a last act to preserve his work, Menace decided to donate all of DBMXL's content to DBZSC.

We will grant Menace's last wish by adding the sections to our database. Expect the huge DBZSC content update in the coming weeks. Thank you Menace, and we wish nothing but the best for you and the DBMXL staff in the future. Farewell.
